Spice jar labels and Pumpkin subway art.

This weekend has been a fairly relaxing one. With the husband working all weekend I had the house to myself and was able to get a couple of craft projects done that I've wanted to do for a while now. The first one was to get all of my spice jars labeled.  I used my Silhouette Cameo for both of these projects!

Next I made a little subway art pumpkin to go on the mantel this fall. I got the pumpkin cut-out from Hobby Lobby and painted it to look like a cute little pumpkin. After that I made up the subway art with my Silhouette and stuck it on. I can't wait for it to be time to start putting out fall decorations!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Friday!!

Do you ever have one of those weeks where on Tuesday you are asking yourself "is it Friday yet?" This was definitely one of those weeks for me! Well finally it is Friday and for me that means only a half day at work! I have a bunch of projects that I still need to get done for the house. The first one is finishing all of my drawer organizers. I made this awesome one about a month ago and I have about 6 more that I need to make for kitchen and bathroom drawers! They are actually really easy to make and much cheaper and more convenient than anything that is premade.

I am also starting to plan for my 3-day refresh that I'm getting ready to do the end of this month. I figured before I coach my next challenge group I should give myself a little refresh!

If you want to join me in a 3-day refresh challenge group leave me a comment!

When your workout buddy goes back to bed...

When my alarm went off this morning at 5:00 am I was actually ready to get out of bed and go for my run. This is a huge change for me since the past couple of weeks I haven't wanted to drag my bum out of bed this early except for my zumba class! After a banana for some energy and lacing up my shoes I asked Todd if he wanted to go for a walk (a phrase that usually makes him jump for joy). I never question what is on his mind, he is very clear with how he feels. For instance, this morning not only did he not get excited about a possible walk but he marched himself back into the bedroom and got back in bed. Thanks for being a supportive workout buddy Todd!
(doesn't he look excited...)

After a 30 minute run in the gorgeous (can't believe I just said that) August weather I did a little PIYO core workout. I never thought a low impact workout program would make me so sore and give me such an amazing workout! Try Piyo!
